Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her other appearances are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio and she continued her interest in performing on stage. She studied theatre through Northwestern University and spent a period studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked as a theatre actor in the Chicago region for a couple of years, before attempting her luck in TV as well as film roles. Anna's first big part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. After appearing as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's, she was chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler is Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. She also starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn also took to the stage starring in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the audio drama podcast series of four parts Numbered days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and final break-up echoes the end of Walter White's personal life.
